Green peanut butter smoothie at Greenhouse Juice Co.

This tastes good, but kind of pricey at 9 bucks for a 12 ounce smoothie. But it's tasty and has peanut butter in it and has a nice hint of a cinnamon taste going on with it as well. This one is from the underground PATH location at Brookfield Place, but there are many popping up, they have one just a stone's throw away at Commerce Court, then Pusateri's by the Eaton Centre inside Sak's Fifth Avenue has one, and another one at Union Station is on the way.

A3 Napoli, replaced by Pizzeria Libretto delivery and takeout at 589 College St

A natural transition for this location as all the equipment is right there for Libretto as A3 was selling basically the same product. Both have / had great pizza. 

Ginger, Camu, Turmeric shot to try and fight off an oncoming common cold

This shot from Greenhouse Juice Co happened to work for me when I felt the impending doom of an oncoming cold. Was feeling under the weather and took this shot and the cold didn't end up materializing. Could be a coincidence, could be placebo, could be that it wasn't a strong cold that was going to occur anyway, or could be that the shot has some strong immunity boosting agents. Possibly a combination of all those aforementioned elements. They have a couple locations in the underground PATH in Toronto. They have a new one in Brookfield Place that just opened as well is just a stone's throw or two away in the adjacent Commerce Court.

Village Pizza Margherita with Sweet Anaheim Chili hot sauce

Village Pizza Dovercourt at 759 Dovercourt Rd probably has the best pizza in this neighbourhood (Bloor and Dovercourt / Ossington / Dufferin).

It tastes real good, nice sitting area, friendly staff. The slice is 5 bucks, which may be a bit more than the norm, and probably a bit tinier than the norm, but it tastes better than the norm.

And you can use their Sweet Anaheim Chili hot sauce, which tastes great. Plus they have water you can help yourself to in glasses provided.

 

Mexitaco closed at Shaw and Bloor Street West

Looks like Mexitaco is done at this corner. No sign indicating renovations being done, signage all gone, and a new resto or bar spot will likely occupy it.

Pinkberry coming to Toronto soon (Brookfield place, by Union Station)

Nordstrom Eaton Centre dessert cake

This is a good cake, was filling, and it has melted toffee underneath it and surrounding it, so it's a nice treat like a liquefied Skor bar at the bottom.
