It's a good quote for Molly Bloom in the movie, who embodies the spirit of this statement. The film has this theme in it as well as the strong desire to do what's right over doing what's conveniently cash oriented.

Rodney Hood scored 29 points and 3 rebounds as the Utah Jazz defeated the San Antonio Spurs 100-89 at home on Thursday night. Hood's season high was 31 points. Dirk Nowitzki scored his 1830th career three pointer Wednesday night in Dallas to tie Chauncey Billups for 12th place all time in the NBA for three pointers. On Monday night Nowitzki passed Kobe Bryant for the number 13 spot, and he is close to overtaking number 11 ranked J. R. Smith, who has 1833 career three pointers. Nowitzki and the Mavs defeated the Pistons Monday night 110-93. A couple of other notes: -Dwight Powell played his 200th game for Dallas, he scored 9 points on the night -Derek Harper will have his number retired on January 7th in Dallas -The Pistons average 103 points, but were held to held it to 93 in the game

Kevin Durant led all scoring with 36 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Dallas Mavericks 112-96 at the Oracle Arena on Thursday Night. Klay Thompson has 25 points, 14 of those came in the 4th quarter Thompson hit 4 straight three pointers in the 4th quarter, he was 5 of 5 from three-point range. Omri Casspi had 17 points and 10 rebounds, his first double-double since December 30, 2015. The Warriors have won 8 in a row.

Toronto Raptors as they were defeated by the Los Angeles Clippers 96-91 at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles Monday night. 91 points for the Raptors was a season low, previous was 94 points vs Boston, a game which they lost 95-94 on November 12th. Some other game notes: -Jonas Valanciunas led all scoring with 23 points and added 15 rebounds -Jonas had his first double double since November 7th versus Chicago, it was his second of the season -Jonas tied his season best 15 rebounds -Montrezl Harrell scored 17 points for the Clippers (had 15 in just 11 minutes of playing time) -Sam Dekker's 14 points was a season best for him -Jakob Poeltl had 5 personal fouls in 13 minutes of play -Raptors led by 4 at the half and led by 4 at the end of 3rd quarter -Raptors has a 7 point lead in the 4th quarter, but the Clippers went 17-6 run by the Clippers on the 4th quarter -Lowry was 0-8 from three point range -C.J.
