From Auschwitz Survivor to Presidents' Tailor
Martin Greenfield learned how to sew as a prisoner in the concentration camp at Auschwitz. He was 16, alone, and forced to mend the shirts of the SS guards who beat him. Today at 86, Martin Greenfield is celebrated as "America's greatest living tailor." He's dressed Eisenhower, Ford, Clinton, Bush, and Obama and is the go-to suit maker for stars like Jimmy Fallon, LeBron James, and Leonardo DiCaprio. He designs wardrobes for television shows like Boardwalk Empire and movies like The Great Gatsby.
