Free indoor basketball courts in Toronto

The best bet to play basketball indoors for free in Toronto is to go to your local community or recreation center.

It's best to call ahead and find out if it is indeed free, because some are free, while some charge a nominal fee of $3. Call ahead to find out for sure and look online for dates and times.

Also, if you happen to be around the Air Canada Centre when the Toronto Raptors or Toronto Maple Leafs are playing, then you can shoot around for a bit at a court set up near the inside entrance of the ACC. Between Union Station and the Air Canada Centre is a set up video and other games for kids and adults to try out, and one of them is a small court with a rim to shoot around. But you can only do it for a few minutes at a time and then need to let others on the court. It opens two hours before game time.
